Overview
Set along Foxwell Road in Coomera, URBANA is a residential community that grows out of its surroundings. Once a quiet agricultural pocket and now one of Queensland's fastest-evolving suburbs, Coomera carries a rich layering of nature — forestry reserves, local wildlife and the Coomera River — alongside its theme parks and new development. URBANA draws on those defining traits to deliver essential housing for a growing community, while weaving in open, shared spaces. Its guiding idea is simple: one vision, endless possibilities.
Architecture
The design balances human scale, context and streetscape through clean, contemporary forms. Each townhouse uses full-height glazing paired with timber batten screening, creating an interplay of light, shadow and privacy while animating the street-facing facades. A palette of whites, neutral greys and warm browns — grounded by darker contrasts and natural materials like concrete, brick and timber — gives each home depth, texture and a strong sense of place.
Master Planning
Beyond the individual homes, URBANA is planned as a community. Roads, pathways, communal areas and dwellings are arranged to work together and adapt to the existing topography, with a clear street hierarchy that keeps movement safe and effortless for both pedestrians and vehicles. Landscape buffers offer privacy and invite local flora and fauna back into the area, and every resident sits within a short five-minute walk of a generous local park and shared open space.
Interior Design
Inside, the design extends the connection to place. Drawing on iconic Australian landscapes — Whitehaven Beach, the Daintree Rainforest, Wave Rock and the Jenolan Caves — natural materials such as timber, stone and metal are used cohesively to create calm, tactile interiors. Open-plan layouts and abundant natural light allow each home to flow seamlessly between indoors and outdoors, turning the residence into a quiet destination of its own.
The Locale
URBANA is positioned to live, learn and play. Theme parks, leafy reserves and the waterways of the Coomera River and Gold Coast Broadwater are close at hand, alongside a strong selection of primary, secondary and further-education options. Retail, dining and entertainment are minutes away at Westfield Coomera, and both M1 access and the Coomera train station make commuting to Brisbane and the wider Gold Coast easy.
